Bernd has taken a small program and modified it so we can install Longest Day mods. In step by step fashion I will show you how to use this program to make a mod install automatically. I can't show you how to make a mod, only the truly gifted know this magic. To get started you will need to download the TLD Mod Installer. I have chosen to mod the campaign.txt file to make a custom campaign for myself.

Mafi's 5CC Tool released & CC2Tools, CC2Spriter, RtB updated
Mafi has created a new tool called, 5CC
v1.02b1. (PC and MAC version included in zip) Its one of the most powerful tools
created in a few years for modding Close Combat. Its intended to modify map data
for CC2/3/4/5RtB and CCM, its not a graphics editor. Mafi has taken his time to
create two extremely detailed (PDF) manuals for the functions of 5CC which are
included in the zip file. 5CC's functions are as follows,
- create a map filled with default datas,
- import your graphics as background (and if available a
seperate layer containing background with interior views),
- edit/define your terrain values (you will view always
your background graphic), - edit/define your elevations,
- define your roofs,
- for CC2: define your bridge blown graphics area - and if
necessary: defining the datas of the repaired bridge and the
repaired bridge graphics area,
- generate LOS, with the ability to edit LOS (LOS will be
calculated while respecting the elevation, terrain type’s
height and the terrain type’s level),
- generate your OVM and MMM graphics,
- save your work into files according the filename rules of your
intended CC game.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
