CC2 Afrika-Mod, Tunisia: close air support vs. Sherman at Longstop Hill-963 viewsThis is the next map I'm working on. CAS seems to be not very effective against tanks. To balance out the map I reduced Allied armour from Priest/Churchill to Sherman/ValentineFlame, but even then the hills will be taken fast by the Allies. Difficult to hide the 88-FlaK. Axis troops suffer from ineffective close range AT equipment (like it was really in those days).

After knocking two PzIV the BR Grant tank was succesfully hit by CloseAirSupport. This shows the strength of the AI: the CAS strike was initiated by the AI, the Luftraumbeob. team is located left on the bridge without LOS to lower terrain. The Pioniere team on the right bridge entry cant reach the Grant, although one of its team members is selecting "Grenade" while the Grant is advancing towards them. The Pioniere are controlled by human, others by AI.
