Close Combat Series -> Tech Support

Hello ,first sory for my english i am from Argentina.

I download some custom maps for CC3 of this page;wre i have to save it for playing it,I have to download something else?

Juan,Open the Close Combat 3 folder and you should see the maps folder open it. You can manually drag and drop the files into it or use winzip to load them. Good luck.

Thanks, i did it and now i open that file where?

I it is ok that my map folder is empty ?

The new maps are for playing in multiplayer mod or also i can use it in single mod?

Sory for so many cuestions Embarassed

I dont know how to use the computer very well you can see and I have the same computer the last 10 years ¡¡.

Juan,

Instala close combat COMPLETO(FULL), me suena a que tienes la instalación mínima por que ésta no instala la carpeta de mapas, los lee del CD.

-Necesitas desinstalar e instalar de nuevo pero ahora selecciona el tipo de instalación FULL INSTALL.
-Al terminar el proceso de instalación, el juego tendrá ahora la carpeta de mapas y dentro de ésta están los archivos de los respectivos mapas, 6 por cada uno.
-Necesitas descomprimir los archivos que te bajas de aquí a la carpeta MAPS, recuerda son 6 archivos. Para descomprimir por ejemplo con WinRAR, selecciona 'Extract Files..' y localiza tu carpeta MAPS en tu instalación.
-Para utilizar el mapa, entra al juego, selecciona 'Create Scenario'->'New Scenario', tu mapa debería de aparecer a continuación, Si no es así es que algo ha salido mal.

Responde aquí o por privado si necesitas más ayuda.
