Hello,
I have been playing CCV for many years so far. Mainly Grand Campaigns. What I realy hate, are unballanced BGs. I know they are historical, but in my opinion, when there are two similar players, with similar experience, Grand Campaign, sooner or later will be lost by Allies. A proper German play with AT weapons will make Allies armourless. Expecially when playing 15min game...
So, I deicided to make a user made scenario in SAS mod, completly unhistorical, but in my opinion a ballanced one.
BGs are faced to the similar ones, both sides start in the middle of the map, trying to move north/south. Im posting it here - maybe you will find it usefull:)
Important info:
-this is a usermade campaign, for a H2H play. It is supposed to be as balanced as it can be. Both sides are more or less equal in BG, however as usually, Gemans are better equped in AT and MG's
-this campaign is played for points (maps) – we play till lets say 20th day of the campaign and then we count maps. When two forces are on the same map, it means that this map belongs to nobody (doesnt matter how many Vls have each side) That is why it is good to attack an opponent becouse at least the defending side will losse one map. While defending only, your opponent will simply win on points (even when he will not gain any map – but simply withdraw some from you)
-at the begining, both sides have 21 map each and one is neutral.
-we play with VL rule, no morale, no initiativ. 15 or 30min
-germans are allowed to have max 3 panzersherecks per battle
-allies will make in day around 15th an AB drop on the german rear lines
-becouse of the "host bug", host plays with a+1 harder level (like guest „line” level, host „veteran”)
-allies PROBABLY shouldnt reinforce their BG but it has to be checked
-Germans FJS DOSEN't have supply beyond enemy lines - even when they are paratropers - remember!!
