My game is not installed on the default directory, I have it installed on an external drive and I am tring to install the patch. Not really sure what to do, when I run the patch it trys to install to C:\Program Files. My game is installed at E:\Invasion Normandy. Any help?
I was able to get plugins for CCIV to work when I had that installed at a non-default location so I think I will be able to get CCV to work also with the plugins; for CCIV the patch installed directly to the non-default location which was great. Still working on trying to get CCV patch to load correctly though. Think I will have it by tomorrow. Thanks for the help too.
games working now. I installed patch to a temp folder then just mannualy copied the files over. One of the problems was that when I installed patch to temp folder it changed my registry "InstalledTo" back to the default location for CC5 which is a little wierd, but I fixed now.
Next question is, I juat was to make sure that transfer work, since I did it manually I wont have the 5.01 on the bottom of the main screen. So is there something in game other than this that I can look for to make sure the patch transfer worked?

The patch is a new CC5.exe and CCResourceDLL.dll files, among others. By just those two alone, you will see the 5.01 version number on the Main screen. If it ain't crashing, you probably got it right.
