Is is possible to create a scenario for the Battle of Hitdorf, Germany? A and I Companies of the 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment encountered the 330th Grenadier Regiment and elements of the 3rd Fallschirmjäger Division. A Company was badly chopped up and was evacuated with help of I Company.

Thanks.

P.S. I can supply some maps and more info when needed.

Welcome MacFrank, a scenario is certainly possible.
Depending on how historically accurate you wanted it to be it would involve creating some new graphics for the 504 Airborne and the German unit/s involved, a custom map or two (depending on how big the sector is), as well as some changes to the data. Close Combat IV has a 504 battle group already so it might be your best bet. Which version of Close Combat did you have in mind?

Thanks for posting the link to your website............there are still some big CCIV fans around that will love the information on the Bulge too.

What I would suggest is to gather up any photos, aerial maps, etc, related to the battle, and also put together an Order of Battle for both forces. Two excellent resources that might help for information on the German units are:

I think there will be some modders/mapmakers that would be willing to help with your project, time allowing of course.

Hope this helps
Cheers

How many maps would this scenario need? And how many days of battle?
Sound like a really cool mini-mod idea for CCIV or CCV.

found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
